Family:  Acheilognathidae (Bitterlings)
Max. size:  9.3 cm TL (male/unsexed); max.weight: 25.1 g
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: northern Viet Nam, southern China and Nam Mat basin in Laos.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-14; Anal soft rays: 9-11. Small maxillary barbels; body depth 2.1-2.3 times in SL.
