Remarks Gut extremely short; intestines contain partially disarticulated insects, remains of both aquatic (larvae) and terrrestrial insects, suggesting that it is probaably essentially insectivorous, opportunistically feeding on both autochthonous and allochthonous sources (Ref. 39866).
