Remarks Collected from rivers, creeks and ditches between 5 and 100 m elevation in stagnant waters or waters of low to moderate current velocity; at temperatures of 25 - 30°C. Abundant among undergrowth or vegetation where it feeds on aquatic insects (Ref. 36880).
