Remarks: Infestation commonly occurs in the stomach, intestine and swimbladder. Besides 1973 (Bashirullah), the infestation was also recorded in 1978 (Ahmed and Begum), 1983 (Ahmed and Saha) and 1994 (Khanum et al.) all in the locality of Dhaka. There are also reports of infestation in 1981 (Ahmed) and 1992 (Khanum et al.) but with no specific locality cited.
