Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean and Western Central Pacific: known from single specimens from off Forestier Island, Western Australia and Cape Moreton, Queensland in Australia. Possibly not distinct from Myliobatis tobijei or Myliobatis aquila; all three species need to be critically compared to determine if they are different species (Ref. 9862).
