| Remarks | Serbian (and Croatian) Wrong identified in Vinja 1986, I 418 (Dentex gibbossus) and connected to hama which is also wrong identified as Dentex gibbossus (o.c.). Also wrong identified by Lipovac-Radulovic 1997, Lipovac- Radulovic 1998 (Rhombus maximus). The word is NOT connecetd to Serbian hama, Albanian ama / amë (Argyrosomus regius). The informants confirmed that the name refers to Pagrus caeruleostictus. |
