Remarks 'limace', i.e., slug; 'pote', i.e., referring to the oblique position of the lips, the lower lip being thus projected forward, recalling the shape taken by the lips of someone doubting, or musing, or of a child going to cry, and said in French Canadian 'faire un pote', i.e., 'to make a pout'.
