Dorsal spines (total): 0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 207; Anal spines: 0; Anal soft rays: 158; Vertebrae: 156 - 160. Edges and bases of unpaired fins dark, pectorals light. Branchial chamber light. Eye round, pupil narrow and vertical. Dorsal fin origin slightly anterior to the insertions of the pectorals.
