Occurs on filamentous algae-covered rocky terraces; occasionally in brackish water (Ref. 5981). Predominantly active during sunlight; otherwise found in piddock holes or barnacle shells (Ref. 5981). Feeds on benthic meiofauna, especially harpacticoids; also algae (Ref. 5981). Oviparous (Ref. 205). Eggs are demersal and adhesive (Ref. 205).
