Dorsal spines (total): 0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 6; Anal spines: 0; Anal soft rays: 9; Vertebrae: 28 - 29. Slender-bodied Poecilia species with a series of 10-11 well marked dark colored horizontal stripes along the body; gonopodium tip of males with a very large hook at ray 5 (Ref. 42987).
