Vertebrae: 57. Caudal-fin rays 6; depth at occiput 111-123% HL; pectoral fin distinctly notched; 3 notched pectoral radials, with 2 fenestrae; gill opening extending ventrally in front of two pectoral rays; opercular lobe small but distinct; rays of lower pectoral-fin lobe shorter than in the upper; pyloric caeca of similar length, slightly dotted at bases; orobranchial cavity pale scarcely dotted, tongue pale, peritoneum light brown or paler; gill arches not dotted (Ref. 42734).
Found on the continental slope. Benthic (Ref. 75154).
