Depressed dorsal fin reaching adipose fin; adipose fin same color as body; body and fins a uniform dark brown; crenulate ridge along anterior edge of pectoral spine; 8 branched anal-fin rays (Ref. 12693). Estimates of some properties based on empirical models

Phylogenetic diversity index (Ref. 82805):  PD50 = 0.5000   [Uniqueness, from 0.5 = low to 2.0 = high].
Bayesian length-weight: a=-1.96000 (nan - nan), b=3.01 (2.81 - 3.21), based on LWR estimates for this Subfamily-BS (Ref. 93245).
Trophic Level (Ref. 69278):  3.6   ±0.6 se; Based on size and trophs of closest relatives
Resilience (Ref. 69278):  Low, minimum population doubling time 4.5 - 14 years (Preliminary K or Fecundity.).
Vulnerability (Ref. 59153):  Moderate to high vulnerability (52 of 100) .
Price category (Ref. 80766):   Unknown.
