Biology     Glossary (e.g. epibenthic)

Inhabits headwater streams. Associates with Poecilia and Limia species in small, sand-bottomed creeks with fast currents (Ref. 13498). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
