Africa: Lower Guinea endemic, known from the Chiloango, Kouilou and Loémé Rivers in the Republic of Congo and Cabinda (Angola) (Ref. 81638). Presence in the Kasai River (middle Congo River basin)(Ref. 41590) questionable (Ref. 7094).
