Diagnosis

Possesses a conspicuous dark blotch covering superficial part of cleithrum above the pectoral fin base; absence of a dark blotch on its dorsolateral aspect of caudal peduncle. Body depth 29.8-34.0%SL; interorbital width 5.5-6.7%SL.

A series of prominent dark blotches present along middle of dorsal fin. Distal extrascapular present.
