Description: Characterized by semi-translucent pale yellowish body with blue iris; silvery cheek patch; fins clear to slightly yellowish; male with fine yellow tip on upper caudal fin lobe; longitudinal scale series 28-30; head 3.2-3.5 in SL; eye 2.5-2.9 in head length; greatest depth of body 3.8-4.5 in SL (Ref. 90102).
