Fish affected:    
Symptoms: Symptoms include dart around nervously, and later becomes listless. The skin and eyes becomes covered with a cloudy mucus membrane layer and breathing is accelerated. In severe cases, skin hemorrhaging can be seen. Secondary bacterial infections like skin and tail rot is exhibited.  
Treatments: Treatments include one 10-15 minute freshwater bath daily on five consecutive days; or a 1mg/L or 1ppm Trichlorfon on three consecutive days. Also a 2g/100L Picric acid for one hour could be administer.  
Prophylaxis:    
Remarks: This parasites are small oval worms with a thick ciliate coat.
