Short description
Dorsal spines (total): 12; Dorsal soft rays (total): 23 - 24; Anal spines: 3; Anal soft rays: 18 - 19. Often confused with C. collare. The broad white band behind the eyeband in both species contributed much to the confusion. Tip of caudal fin is transparent.
