पृष्ठीय रीढ़ (सम्पूर्ण): 12; पृष्ठीय सौफट रेज़ (सम्पूर्ण): 13; गुदा कांटा 2; ऐनल सौफट रेज़: 13 - 14. Body short, almost round. Color is brown with a black spot on the pectoral fin base. The caudal fin, caudal peduncle and the adjacent portion of the dorsal and anal fins white.
