Short description Morfología | Morfometría

Radios blandos dorsales (total): 73-80; Radios blandos anales: 57 - 64; Vértebra: 40 - 43. This species is distinguished by the following characters: D 73-80; A 57-64; moderately large eyes (2.2-2.8%SL); slender body; many cirri on snout; scales on cheeks, none above the opercular spine; with upper preopercular pore; funnel-shaped posterior nostril; broad-based outer pseudoclasper, not extending beyond the hood when in resting position, with thick distal knob on the inner face, while the inner one about half size of outer pseudoclasper, anterior thorn slightly bent, posterior lobe broader than the anterior one; vertebrae 11-12 + 29-30 = 40-43 (Ref. 81230).
