Short description
Morfologia | Morfometria
Raggi dorsali molli (totale): 4; Raggi anali molli: 45 - 56; Vertebre: 46 - 50. Forked caudal fin with the upper lobe 1.4-1.6 times longer than the lower lobe; less convex snout when viewed laterally.
Found in blackwater habitats associated with peat swamps. Feeds mainly on terrestrial insects and aquatic arthropods.
