描述: (以 19件標本為依據): 成魚的高度: 8.0-14.0 公分。 環: 11+35-36.(34-38) 吻的長度: 2.4(2.1-2.8) 分之一頭長。 背鰭鰭條: 17(16-18)個覆蓋 2+1個環。 胸鰭鰭條: 15-16. 冠: 低的, 有五個圓形的癤瘤。 棘: 發展良好的圓癤瘤。
其他的顯著特性: 通常有突出的圓形眼棘。
彩色斑紋: 灰綠褐色的具有在頭部 73 上的灰黃色的點與大理石紋與斷掉的線; 或深色的, 均勻的。
Length type is height (=TL - head length). Found in seagrass beds. Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail (Ref. 205).
