描述: (以 18件标本为依据): 成鱼的高度: 9.0-19.2 公分。环: 11+36.(35-37) 吻的长度: 2.4(2.1-2.6) 分之一头长。背鳍鳍条: 17-18 覆盖 2+1个环。胸鳍鳍条: 16-17. 冠: 相当低的, 圆形的而且在背部悬于之上, 平坦的-顶端了或者具有一个轻微的凹洼。棘: 只有的低又圆形的肿块。其他的显着特性: 体环相当矮矮胖胖; 宽的或几乎双眼与颊的棘。彩色斑纹: 可能是覆盖着极小的白色点或比较大的褐色斑点。

Length type refers to height (= TL - head length). Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail (Ref. 205).
