Short description
Dorsal soft rays (total): 11; Anal soft rays: 16 - 18. Forked caudal with symmetrical pointed lobes. Silvery body with greenish back. Orange fins. 12-15 vertical black bars whose height diminishes progressively from front to back of body. May have smaller intercalary spots or bar at anterior portion of body. Dorsal: 3 simple, 8 branched. Anal: 3 simple, 13-15 branched.
