Short description
Body depth 5.25-7x, head length 2.8-3x SL. Head 3.75-4.85x longer than wide. Snout more than half of head length (53-58%). Small scales. Side and lower part of body silvery white. Upper part, snout and head olive green. Median lateral band dark from eye to central part of caudal fin. Another dark band from behind neck joining mediodorsal line at adipose fin level and continuing to caudal fin. Third mediodorsal band joining occiput and posterior end of the dorsal fin base. Caudal with 3 dark oblique bands on each lobe.
