Short description
Dorsal soft rays (total): 11; Anal soft rays: 8. Depressed dorsal profile just behind head. Sub equal long barbels, both reaching past eye border. Dorsal and anal both with 3 simple rays. Brown back, light belly. 4 round black spots: 1. 1st lateral line scales; 2. above alignment of the 3 other spots just before the dorsal fin; 3. behind the vertical of the last dorsal fin ray; 4. caudal peduncle. 2 dark bands on anterior end of body on each side of lateral line extending 8-13 scales. Small black spots on dorsal specially on the extremities of 4-5 last branched rays.
