পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ): 33 - 36; পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ): 5-6; পায়ূ কাঁটা 2; পায়ূর নরম পাখনা্তুন্ড: 22 - 25. Reddish orange or yellow in color, with about 7 broad darker crossbars; 2 lines from eye to cheek; dark ocellus on shoulder; fins with faint mottlings (Ref. 5496).
Occurs in weedy areas.
