Short description
Dorsal spines (total): 13; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12 - 13; Anal spines: 2; Anal soft rays: 10 - 12. Color dark brown, becoming lighter ventrally. Six vertical stripes of about eye diameter in width on the sides, the first running from the top of the head and the sixth from the posterior base of the dorsal fin.
