Dorsal spines (total): 30 - 32; Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-9; Anal spines: 2; Anal soft rays: 22 - 24. Around 7 brown irregular crossbars edged with iridescent blue; preserved specimens uniform buff (Ref. 5496).
