At 4.48 mm, presence of a blunt barbel on the chin, without any pore on the tip. Second dorsal fin has one spine and 30 soft rays. Caudal fin is round. Preoperculum has five spine-like serrarions of which 4 are located at the angular region. Mouth mildly sub-terminal.
