Additional Characters Shell surface contains amber spines (0.04-0.06 mm long) scattered over entire surface (Ref. 36608). Yolk is homogeneous, about 1.9 mm in diameter; also unpigmented (Ref. 36608). Chorion amber; advanced embryo with melanophores in patches on dorsum from snout to end of tail, dorsally on gut, and on swellings on elongate dorsal and pelvic fin rays (Ref. 36608).
