English	Danish seine	A method of boat seining with a large net, but landing the catch on the vessel; a single or pair boat operation where an area of seafloor of approximately 2 square kilometers is swept as two encircling ropes leading to a trawl-like net are retrieved by the operating vessel(s). Fish within the area of the ropes are herded back into the net during hauling, also: a seine which is hauled over an area of about 2 square kilometres to a stationary vessel, the very long towing ropes disturbing clouds of mud which help herd the fish into the net.
