Comments: Introduced also for angling/sport. Reintroduced in 1934. Widely cultured in Patagonia since introduction, it has been transplanted to almost all waterbody of the country suitable for the species. It has become the most widely dispersed salmonid ranging from cold mountain streams and rivers at the Argentine tropics down to the tip of Tierra del Fuego.
