Environment:  benthopelagic; brackish; marine; depth range 6 - 10 m
Distribution:  Northwestern Pacific: Known only from the northern part of the Sea of Okhotsk.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 89-106; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 73-89; Vertebrae: 102-108. Parietal bones are not connected with each other and are separated by the upper occipital bone throughout their length.
Biology:  Found under stones in the channel of a river during low tide (Ref. 74969). Largest mature individuals caught measure 21.5-31.5 cm TL (Ref. 74969). Viviparous, with variable number of eggs, 4-131 (Ref. 74969).
