Family:  Clariidae (Airbreathing catfishes)
Max. size:  10.1 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater,
Distribution:  Africa: caves near the Uegit and the Uebi Scebeli rivers in Somalia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Cave-restricted species. Depth of water at type locality was 1.25 m. The temperature was 24°C, pH 8 and the hardness 300mg/l Ca. To date there are no other data available on the biology of the species (Ref. 78218).
