Max. size:  30 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Japan, Yellow Sea and South China Sea.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-15; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 10-13
Biology:  Ovaries and liver extremely toxic, skin and intestine highly toxic, flesh innocuous or slightly toxic, and testes innocuous (Ref. 42715).
