Family:  Ehiravidae (River sprats)
Max. size:  2.3 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Borneo in Indonesia (Ref. 7050) and Malaysia (Ref. 57780). Occurrence in the Mekong basin needs confirmation (Ref. 27732, 37773).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-14; Anal soft rays: 17-21; Vertebrae: 41-43. Horizontal diameter of eye less than 4% SL; ceratobranchial 5 with 0-3 small conical teeth; total rakers on first arch 0-2 (Ref. 34809).
