Max. size:  25.14 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 0 - 200 m
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: Peru and Chile.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 47-50; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 41-44; Vertebrae: 42-43. Body blue green dorsally and silvery white ventrally. Margin of fins darker. Small dark blue spots on dorsal side of body (Ref. 27363).
