Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 1 - 40 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: southern Australia, from Perth, Western Australia to Flinders Island, Tasmania.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Apparently restricted to areas with thick growths of seagrass such as Posidonia, within embayments and relatively sheltered waters.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 16 September 2009 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
