Environment:  pelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Sittang and Irrawaddy (Harrison pers. comm.) river system in Myanmar.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabit rivers. Oviparous, eggs are pelagic and non-adhesive (Ref. 205).
