Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 10 - 50 m
Distribution:  Southwest Pacific: Australia, including Lord Howe and Norfolk Islands and New Zealand, including Kermadec Islands.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs inshore (Ref. 75154). Inhabits depths up to at least 50 m (Ref. 26203).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 04 February 2009 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
