Max. size:  25.5 cm NG (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 37 - 460 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: southern Australia and New Zealand.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on the continental shelf and slope, usually in depths greater than 300 m (Ref. 9563).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 04 February 2009 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
