Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 295 - 571 m
Distribution:  Southeast Atlantic: off Walvis Bay, Namibia and off Cape Point, South Africa.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 45-48; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 40-43. Specimens in alcohol are pale in color (Ref. 6632).
