Family:  Opisthocentridae ("Rearspined fin pricklebacks")
Max. size:  12 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 0 - 70 m
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific: southern Kuril Islands and Sea of Japan, from Tatar Strait and Hokkaido to Korean Peninsula.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found near shore among algal beds (Ref. 51666).
