Max. size:  3.9 cm SL (male/unsexed); 4.16 cm SL (female)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; depth range 1 - 1 m
Distribution:  South America: Upper rio Guaporé drainage, rio Galera and rio Novo; and Rio Madeira basin in Brazil.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in translucent water of quiet to medium flow, sandy bottom with pebbles and a depth of 1-1.2 m (Ref. 57085).
