Max. size:  7.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: found in the Rio Grande drainage in Texas and New Mexico, USA and Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits sandy and rocky runs and flowing pools of small to large rivers (Ref. 5723).
