Max. size:  108.5 cm TL (female)
Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 60 - 120 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Bali, Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  This moderately sized species is characterized by the following: low preanal length to anal-caudal space, 7.1-8.7, and to dorsal-caudal space, 5.3-6 ratios; moderately large dorsal fins, upright, base length of first dorsal 1.3-1.5 times anal-caudal space; claspers of adult males terminating well short of anal-fin origin; about 73/69 rows of teeth, exposed evenly around symphysis of lower jaw when mouth is closed; 86-89 precaudal vertebrae centra, 33-35 monospondylous centra; first dorsal fin with a broad white margin; apex of second dorsal fin with a distinct black margin; terminal caudal lobe with distinct black tip (Ref. 72460).
