Max. size:  16 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range - 9 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Bodega Bay in northern California, USA to central Baja California, Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults occur in rocky inshore areas and in depths up to 9.1 m, often among seaweeds. Feed on algae and small invertebrates (Ref. 2850). Viviparous, female carries the developing young (Ref. 205).
