Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 120 - 1153 m
Distribution:  Southeast Atlantic and Southwest Indian Ocean: off Agulhas Bank, Durban and East London in South Africa. Possibly from Somalia, Uruguay, and southern Brazil.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 2-2; Dorsal soft rays (total): 149
