Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Carmel in central California, USA to northern Baja California, Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults hide among rocks and kelp holdfasts. Young are often in schools in kelp canopy. Oviparous (Ref. 56079).
